Since we started Teak in 2012, our focus has always been on creating powerful tools that help drive engagement for free-to-play games. Our website, however, didn’t quite capture the spirit of our mission. Until now.

We’re happy to announce we’ve officially launched our new website, upgraded our branding, and honed in our messaging to be laser-focused on what we do best—powering player retention for free-to-play games.

Let’s take a deeper look at what’s changed, what hasn’t, and what the future holds for Teak.

A message that’s focused on what we do

We’ve always been built for free-to-play. We just weren’t saying it loudly enough. Our new site puts our positioning front and center:

Teak is the CRM platform purpose-built for free-to-play game studios.

If you’re a mobile game studio, you want tools made specifically for you. That’s Teak.

A brand that looks like the world we play in

We live in the universe of mobile games. Now our brand does, too.

Like a house that just got a fresh makeover, we threw out the mismatching furniture and got our space decorated by a professional. We cleared out the old, mismatched visuals and rebuilt everything with intention. Across our site and identity, you’ll find design cues that give a playful nod to the world of free-to-play.

Hello, new logo

We updated our logo to give it a modern look that matches our new branding. Teak is all about communication—that’s the essence of our product. We nod to this crucial element in our logo, with the “e” and the “a” looking like they’re talking to each other.

And we have a new icon—the Teakie. This little guy represents the heroes, companions, and quirky sidekicks players love. It’s bold, playful, and always ready for the next challenge. Just like us.

Brighter, more welcoming colors

Mobile games are bright. They’re fun. They’re playful. That’s our vibe, too! We’ve thrown out the dark, moody tones for more colorful expressions—without losing the polish and professionalism that our customers expect.

So with all this, has Teak changed?

Well, yes and no.

We’re clearer, bolder, and more confident in who we are and what we offer, but we’re still the same core team delivering the same great product and service our customers depend on.

One thing you can expect to change—we’re giving the Teak platform a visual refresh and improving the functionality, too (more to come on that later).

What’s next for us

We’re expanding. We’re meeting new studios. And we’re building tools that help free-to-play teams increase retention year over year.

If you’re part of a studio, or know someone who is, we’d love to show what Teak can do.
